Justin Key
Native to Nashville, Justin has had a camera in his hands since he was eight years old. Growing up in a darkroom he found an affinity towards the art of storytelling through visuals. After graduating college, and further study with fashion and commercial photographers, Justin took a unique journey through the music business.
At twenty-six he became the Director of Creative Services and Video Commissioner for Big Machine Records. During his tenure, he oversaw the creative aspects of Taylor Swift’s music videos, photo shoots and album design, including her highly acclaimed 1989 Album.
Since exiting the label business, he continues to extend his reach within the music community— establishing himself as a music video director, filmmaker, and documentarian. Over his career, Justin has been involved as a producer or director of over two-hundred and fifty music videos as well as several films and documentaries. His entire catalog of video work, with which he has been a part of as Creative Director, Director, or Producer, has garnered over Fifteen Billion views on streaming platforms alone.
